Dr. Cathy Foley, Chief Scientist of Australia, provided an update on the state of quantum development in Australia as part of the "National Quantum Updates" during the Global Cooperation learning track at Quantum World Congress 2023.

Dr. Cathy Foley is the 9th ever Chief Scientist for the country of Australia. Prior to this role, she served as the Chief Scientist for Australia’s national science agency, known as the Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization, or CSIRO).
