On September 12th, 2024, the University of Maryland Quantum Institutes will host the Quantum Leap Career Nexus (QLCN), a premier global networking, recruitment, and mentorship workshop dedicated to careers in the quantum industry. This event will unite leading quantum organizations with undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career professionals. Quantum World Congress is proud to partner with the University of Maryland for this satellite event and enthusiastically encourages all QWC delegates to attend.

The attendee focus is the undergraduate, graduate, postdoc, and early career professionals. This event will include workshops to provide them with the skills, tools, and relationships needed to forge a successful career, with the support of their peers and mentors. The workshops with hiring organizations are designed to facilitate new mentorships in addition to internship and job placements.

The QLCN will highlight opportunities for members of underrepresented groups to enter the quantum workforce. The specific focus is on creating an inclusive, equitable pathway into quantum for students and young professionals of all backgrounds.

UNDERGRADUATES, GRADUATE STUDENTS, POSTDOCS, AND EARLY CAREER PROFESSIONALS
Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs may register for free. We are offering a limited number of travel support opportunities in service of our mission to broaden access to quantum career opportunities to those in need and currently underrepresented in the quantum field. Travel support may include reimbursements for flights, hotels, ground transportation, and any meals during travel that are not provided by the workshop.

Representatives from industry, government, and academia are invited to participate as exhibitors or sponsors.
