Matthew Scholl, Chief of the Computer Security Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Information Technology Laboratory (ITL), spoke during the Government and Security breakout track at Quantum World Congress 2023 on "Quantum Resistant Algorithms".

Matthew Scholl is the Chief of the Computer Security Division in the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). His responsibilities include Cryptographic Standards used by the US Government and the Nation as well as internationally by allies and NATO partners. He is also responsible for Cybersecurity Research and Development at NIST, as well as Cybersecurity Standards and Guidelines used for Federal Agency Security Programs. He leads NIST participation with Cybersecurity in many National and Internationals Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) and leads NIST work in cybersecurity conformance and testing programs used worldwide. Mr. Scholl is a US Army veteran and has a Masters in Information Systems from the University Of Maryland and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Richmond.
