Location & General Information

  • The event will take place at the Capital One Hall- 7750 Capital One Tower Drive, Tysons Corner, VA 22102 More information on parking, building entrances, maps, etc. are available at https://www.quantumworldcongress.com/travel.

  • Quantum World Congress is a business event providing quantum-related professionals, academia, and vendors an environment to connect, network, and learn about impacts and advancements in quantum technology. Executives, engineers, scientists, educators, government and public sector leaders, and other professionals with a strategic interest in the quantum industry are encouraged to attend. All curious minds welcome!

  • Complimentary morning and afternoon beverage service, light breakfast, as well as lunch, will be offered on the programming days of September 27th and September 28th to all fully registered attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Additionally, there are multiple restaurants in walking distance for attendees.

  • We have an information booth staffed during the two main days to answer any of your questions and get you to where you want to go. The booth is located on the show floor.

  • On the pre-day of Quantum World Congress 2023, Tuesday September 26th, we’re proud to partner with a collection of quantum’s brightest minds to present six bootcamps for everyone from: the quantum curious, the region’s students, and educators to the experienced quantum workforce and organizational executives and leaders navigating the transition to a quantum-ready future. When you register for Quantum World Congress, you’ll be able to select the bootcamps you’d like to attend or if registered select through your registration page.   • There are three key workshops at Quantum World Congress. (1) The Quantum Domains Workshop will take place on Day 1 (September 26th) from 1-5PM EST. Participants will form roundtables with their peers to discuss a set of challenge and roadmap questions focused on overcoming obstacles to collaboration across sector and domain of technical interest and activity. (2) The Life Sciences & Healthcare Hub Workshop will take place on Day 1 (September 26th) from 1-3PM. Participants will discuss with stakeholders from a variety of sectors what a Life Science Hub for Quantum should look like. This session will utilize breakout groups to ensure cross-sector communication and foster collaboration. (3) The Policy & Ethics Workshop will take place on Day 1 (September 26th) from 3:15-5PM. Participants will hear from experts on policy, law, tech development, and ethics in their endeavor to make the Quantum space a sustainable and edifying one. Additionally, attendees will hear about efforts related to integrating ethical education and development into other Quantum education, development, and industry endeavors. Seating is limited. Please register your interest in attending a workshop when you register for the Quantum World Congress.

Badge pickup will be on-site at the Capital One Hall. Badge pick-up desks will open at 7 a.m. EST Tuesday, September 26th, Wednesday, September 27th, and Thursday, September 28th.

  • Hotel rates have expired. However, our recommended hotels are listed on the QWC Travel page.

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing to qwc@conecteddmv.org. The deadline to cancel registration for a full refund has passed.

  • All badges will be available for pick-up only onsite at the event. No badges will be mailed. Badge pick-up desks will open on Tuesday, September 26, beginning at 7 a.m. EST.
